沿革HISTORY

1912 - 1926 大正時代 Taisho Period	原田家、吉島家が鍋島緞通の生産を始める吉島家創業者吉島正敏、二代目吉島正清 The Harada family and Yoshijima family began producing Nabeshima Dantsu. Yoshijima Masatoshi the Yoshijima Family Founder, Yoshijima Masakiyo the Second 大正時代緞通袋
1943 昭和18年6月 June, 18th Year of Showa	戦時中に原田家、吉島家二軒が商工省より丸技保存の認可を受けかろうじて鍋島緞通の生産を続ける The two families of Harada and Yoshijima received craft technology preservation approval from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and continued producing Nabeshima Dantsu to a limited degree.
1948 昭和24年5月 May, 24th Year of Showa	天皇陛下、佐賀へ行幸 The Emperor made an imperial visit to Saga. 天皇陛下、佐賀へ行幸
1954 昭和29年4月 April, 29th Year of Showa	佐賀より久留米へ移る Moved to Kurume from Saga. 佐賀より久留米へ移る
1956 昭和31年12月 December, 31st Year of Showa	聖園授産場を開き、聴力障害者に緞通の技術指導を行う Opened the Misono Vocational Center, and conducted cotton rug technical guidance for deaf and mute people.
1967 昭和42年3月 March, 42nd Year of Showa	母義子と三代目伸一、久留米にて事業開始 Began business in Kurume with mother Yoshiko, and Shinichi the Third.
1974 昭和49年2月 February, 49th Year of Showa	韓国水原に柳氏と大元株式会社を設立しフックドラグの生産を開始 Established Oomoto Co., Ltd. with Mr. Liu in Suwon, South Korea, and began producing hooked rugs.
1981 昭和56年3月 March, 56th Year of Showa	福岡県の特産工芸品の指定を受ける Designated as a special craft product of Fukuoka Prefecture.

1985 昭和60年10月 October, 60th Year of Showa	中華人民共和国金福岡総領事ご夫妻来訪 Mr. Kim, Fukuoka Consulate General of People’s Republic of China and his wife made a visit.
1985 昭和60年11月 November, 60th Year of Showa	吉島義子、伝統的工芸品産業功労者として表彰を受ける Yoshijima Yoshiko was awarded as a person of merit in the traditional crafts industry. 吉島義子功労賞
1991 平成3年6月 June, 3rd Year of Heisei	会長吉島義子死去 Chairman Yoshijima Yoshiko passed away.
1994 平成6年12月 December, 6th Year of Heisei	久留米市庁舎応接室へ納入（菊竹設計デザイン田中一光先生担当） Made delivery to the reception room of the Kurume City Hall (PIC: Tanaka Ikko of Kikutake Design).
2001 平成13年10月 October, 13th Year of Heisei	吉島伸一、ポーラ伝統文化振興財団よりポーラ賞受賞 Yoshijima Shinichi was awarded with the Pola Award from the Pola Foundation of Japanese Culture. ポーラ賞受賞ポーラ賞賞状
2002 平成14年11月 November, 14th Year of Heisei	佐賀唐人町にギャラリー緞をオープン Opened Gallery Dan in Tojinmachi, Saga.
2003 平成15年11月 November, 15th Year of Heisei	中国総領事長斉氏、ギャラリー緞へ来訪 Mr. Qí, Consul General of China, made a visit to Gallery Dan. 中国総領事長斉氏
2005 平成17年4月 April, 17th Year of Heisei	京舞の井上八千代宅（京都）を訪問 Made a visit to the residence of Inoue Yachiyo of traditional Kyoto dance in Kyoto.
2006 平成18年3月 March, 18th Year of Heisei	北京故宮博物院第一回目契約へ Signed a first contract with the Palace Museum in Beijing City.
2006 平成18年4月 April, 18th Year of Heisei	吉島家緞通ミュージアムを佐賀市赤松町にオープン Opened the Yoshijima Family Dantsu Museum in Akamatsucho, Saga-shi.
2006 平成18年8月 August, 18th Year of Heisei	中国寧夏回族自治区へ第一回目の中国緞通視察 Made the first Chinese cotton rug observation tour in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China.
2007 平成19年1月 January, 19th Year of Heisei	第二回目の中国緞通視察 Made the second Chinese cotton rug observation tour.
2009 平成21年5月 May, 21st Year of Heisei	NHK「美の壺」に出演 Appeared in the NHK program: “Beauty of Pot.”
2009 平成21年10月 October, 21st Year of Heisei	第五回北京故宮博物院展を吉島家緞通ミュージアムにて開催 Opened the 5th Palace Museum in Beijing City Exhibition at the Yoshijima Family Dantsu Museum.
2010 平成22年10月 October, 22nd Year of Heisei	創業百周年の記念事業として「中国北京故宮博物院の緞通と日本の緞通展」を佐賀県立美術館にて開催苗運寺の緞通碑を改修 Opened the “Exhibition on Dantsu of the Palace Museum in Beijing City and Dantsu in Japan” at the Saga Prefectural Art Museum as the centennial anniversary of foundation. Repaired a dantsu monument at Myouunji Temple.
2012 平成24年10月 October, 24th Year of Heisei	川上峡に吉島伸一鍋島緞通株式会社を設立伝統継承者四代目吉島ひろ子（吉島家長女） Established Yoshijima Shinichi Nabeshima Dantsu Co., Ltd. in Kawakamikyou. The Fourth Generation Successor of Tradition: Yoshijima Hiroko (Eldest Daughter of the Yoshijima Family)
2015 平成27年4月 April, 27th Year of Heisei	吉島ひろ子、第五十回記念西部伝統工芸展初入選 Yoshijima Hiroko won the 50th Anniversary Western Traditional Crafts Exhibit for the first time.
2016 平成28年12月 December, 28th Year of Heisei	吉島ひろ子、全国伝統的工芸品公募展特別賞受賞佐賀県伝統的地場産品指定 Yoshijima Hiroko won the special prize at the National Traditional Crafts Public Exhibition. Designated as a traditional local product of Saga Prefecture.
2019 令和元年11月 November, First Year of Reiwa	中国北京にて開催された日本伝統工芸展へ出展 Exhibited in the Japan Traditional Kógei Exhibition in Beijing, China.
